Visa Application & Requirements for Passport Holders of Restricted Countries
Holders of passport of restricted countries cannot obtain their visas upon arrival, as they are required to apply for an approval to enter the territory of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

However, those nationals of restricted countries (Except Iran, Bangladesh, Nigeria and Afghanistan) who are resident or a temporary visa holders in the following countries; Australia, EU, UK, USA, Canada, Japan, South Korea, and GCC will be considered as those holders of Non-Restricted countries.
Please note that All Holders of Travel Documents cannot obtain their visas upon arrival, as they require applying for approval to enter.

Please note that a user manual is available in both Arabic and English
It takes approximately 2 weeks to process you application, Additional information may be requested by the Ministry of Interior during the processing stage. If your application approved by the Ministry of Interior you can print the approval note which will allow to enter Jordan EXCEPT entering from the King Hussein/Allenby Bridge, please read conditions on your approval note carefully. Please note that you will have to pay the visa fee upon arrival (40 JDs for a single entry).
If you wish to stamp a visa on your passport from the embassy prior to travel, please contact the visa department and refer to your approval reference.
Notes
• Group Visas are issued ONLY at Jordanian borders, and pre-arranged by an accredited Jordanian travel agency.
• Visa fees are subject to change without prior notice. Charges collected will reflect the applicable fees on the processing date.
Lodging and Collection
A pre-paid Australian post self-addressed return envelope (Registered, Express, or priority post only) must be provided,
Or a pick up by a courier (e.g DHL, FedEx) must be arranged. otherwise, the passport can be collected by an authorised person after (3) working days from the date of submission or receiving it.
Note: The Consular Section would strongly recommend you to keep the return delivery tracking number so you can track your passport yourself. Please note that the consular Section is NOT responsible for any loss that may happen.
Lodging Documents: (Monday–Friday) 10:00–12:00.
Collection working days: (Monday–Friday) 14:00-15:00.
